Defining Attributes

Definition

Percentage of trained rehabilitation workers that is unemployed. This includes rehabilitation workers who have gained rehabilitation certifications in other countries and people who have been trained locally. Persons in unemployment are those of legal working age who are not currently employed for rehabilitation, whether in public or private sector, but who have actively sought employment and are available to take up a job opportunity for rehabilitation, whether in clinical practice, or administrative and management positions. New graduates not in activity should also be included.

Numerator

Number of trained rehabilitation workers currently unemployed in rehabilitation.

Denominator

Sum of number of active rehabilitation workers in the labour force and unemployed rehabilitation workers.
