Defining Attributes

Definition

Ratio of the number of students in the country graduating from a rehabilitation workforce education and training programme to the number of students enrolled in the first year of the same education and training programme. This may include physical medicine and rehabilitation doctors, rehabilitation nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, prosthetists and orthotists, and psychologists. Other rehabilitation occupational groups relevant to the country can also be included, for example, audiologists, social workers and mid-level rehabilitation cadres. This indicator may be applied to several degrees of education and training programmes; diploma, bachelor's degree or postgraduate degree.

Number of graduates from a rehabilitation workforce education and training programme.

Denominator

Number of students enrolled in first year of the same rehabilitation workforce education and training programme.
