Defining Attributes

Definition

Percentage of rehabilitation facilities with a documented referral mechanism in the country. Multiple mechanisms and documents need to be present in a facility for referrals to operate smoothly. These include access to documented referral pathways, procedures, criteria and contact details of referral locations in community settings and in more specialised rehabilitation care. This measure is used as tracer criteria for readiness of making referrals.

Number of rehabilitation facilities where documented referral mechanisms are observed in the country.

Denominator

Total number of facilities in the country.
