Proportion of patients with established or high risk for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) who have low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels at or below that recommended for their estimated cardiovascular risk.
Numerator
Number of patients with established or high risk for ASCVD who have LDL-C levels at or below that recommended for their estimated cardiovascular risk.
Denominator
Number of patients with established or high risk for ASCVD who have no contraindication, refusal, or history of intolerance to statins, ezetimibe and proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9) inhibitors.
