A seven-day medication chart and/or administration record review for each care recipient every quarter Data items collected: Number of care recipients assessed for antipsychotic medications. Number of care recipients excluded because they were admitted in hospital for the entire seven-day assessment period. Number of care recipients who received an antipsychotic medication. Number of care recipients who received an antipsychotic medication for a medically diagnosed condition of psychosis.

Included within an overall five-star quality rating program (n=5 QIs). Contributes to Star Ratings (care recipients with one or more pressure injuries).
