Definition

The average patient experience measured across the three stages of the care pathway: pre visit; during the visit to the Outpatients Department; and the transition/post-visit period.

Sum of ratings to patient experience questionnaire taken at multiple timepoints.

National Outpatient Survey for adults, which is completed by a sample of patients aged 16 years and over who have attended an outpatient appointment at an acute or specialist trust.
