Definition
Patients seen by a physician in outpatient primary health care gives the number of patients seen by a physician during the year in health-centre prenatal clinics, child health clinics and family planning clinics, in health-centre school health care and student health care, as well as in home-nursing, mental health and other outpatient care settings (various consultation visits, health-examination and screening visits, and visits associated with the determination of a person's state of health, such as medical certificates). An individual patient may have several visits during the year.
