Defining Attributes

Definition

The indicator gives the average number of dental care visits in health centres per thousand inhabitants during the statistical year. Dental care visits in outpatient primary health care include clients/patients visits to oral health care staff at health centres and visits by oral health care staff to clients/patients. The population data refer to year-end data.

Numerator

The total number of dental care visits in health centres meeting the inclusion criteria during the statistical year.

Denominator

The total number of inhabitants at the end of the statistical year, divided by 1,000
