Definition

Progression of wound bed (slough, dead tissue, colouring) should be observed within 6 weeks of diagnosis (or of joining DN caseload).

Numerator

Number of patients showing progression.

Denominator

Number of patients on caseload with a wound.

Exclusions

Non-compliant patients, patients with malignancy, patients with vascular arterial disease
