Numerator

Number of prescription items for BNF 5.1.1.3 (co-amoxiclav), BNF 5.1.2.1 (cephalosporins) and BNF 5.1.12 (quinolones) prescribed during the last four quarters.

Denominator

Total number of prescription items for selected antibacterial drugs (BNF 5.1 sub-set) prescribed during the last four quarters.

Exclusions

Practices have been excluded from analysis if they have at least one quarter of missing data.
