Received breast cancer screening

Numerator

Beneficiaries with one or more mammograms any time on or between October 1 two years prior to the start of the measurement year and December 31 of the measurement year.

Denominator

Total beneficiaries per 1000.

Exclusions

Beneficiaries were excluded if they used hospice services during the measurement year. Beneficiaries who had a bilateral mastectomy or a right and a left unilateral mastectomy were excluded.
