Definition

Percentage of providers that receive supportive supervision for PHC (not just specific disease areas) that include the following attributes: (1) There is collaborative problem-solving and open dialogue, (2) Routine mentoring to address gaps in performance, knowledge or skills, (3) Support in setting individual goals and reviewing progress towards their achievement, (4) Receipt of specific technical expertise when required. A provider can be an individual health care worker, a team, or a health centre.
