Defining Attributes

Definition

Percentage of patients at least 18 years of age and younger than 80 with back pain lasting more than 12 weeks, with documentation of physician advice for supervised exercise.

Numerator

The number of patients with documentation that a supervised exercise program was recommended or that they were provided instructions for therapeutic exercise with follow-up by the physician.
