Defining Attributes

Definition

Percentage of patients ≥18 to ≤85 years of age who had a diagnosis of essential hypertension and who had a complete lipid profile performed for screening of dyslipidaemia.

Numerator

Patients in the denominator population who had a complete lipid profile performed for screening of dyslipidaemia within 12 months (prior to the end of reporting quarter).

Denominator

Total number of unique patients ≥18 to ≤85 years of age, with hypertension related outpatient visit/s during the reporting quarter AND who had at least 2 hypertension related outpatient visits within 09 months (prior to the reporting quarter).

Exclusions

Documentation of end stage renal disease (ESRD) (within denominator time-frame), renal transplant (before or during the reporting quarter), pregnancy (during the reporting quarter) and all ABM Mandate encounters.
