Definition
Percentage of diabetics who received a Foot exam: visual inspection with either a sensory exam or a pulse exam within 12 months (prior to the end of reporting quarter).
Numerator
Patients in the denominator population with a diabetic foot exam done (skin, soft tissue, musculoskeletal, vascular, neurological) within 12 months (prior to the end of reporting quarter.
Denominator
Total number of unique patients (≥18 to ≤75 years of age), with diabetes related outpatient visit/s during the reporting quarter and who had at least 2 diabetes related outpatient visits within 09 months (prior to the reporting quarter).
Exclusions
Patient with diagnosis of polycystic ovaries, gestational diabetes, or steroid-induced diabetes, amputated lower limb before or during the measurement period (within the denominator time-frame) and all ABM Mandate encounters.
