Definition

This indicator measures the proportion of people who died in hospital (inpatient, emergency department, complex continuing care, rehabilitation). Hospital includes the following facilities: Acute inpatient hospitals, Emergency departments, Inpatient mental health, Complex continuing care, Inpatient rehabilitation.
