Definition
Percentage of publicly funded home care clients, of all ages, who rated their home care co-ordination and service provider(s) as excellent, very good, good, fair or poor.
Numerator
The number of responses ("excellent", "very good", "good", "fair", "poor") registered for each of the three questions on the overall experience of service provision.
Denominator
The number of total responses to the three questions minus the total number of responses not applicable to these questions.
Exclusions
General Survey Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria applied. Several types of home care clients and services are excluded (e.g. end-of-life clients, respite services, nursing clinic services).

Results are weighted to reflect the population of home care clients eligible to be surveyed within each Local Health Integration Network (i.e., sampled home care clients are standardised to the Local Health Integration Network-specific population).

Client and Caregiver Experience Evaluation (CCEE) Survey is intended to be an ongoing evaluation tool, with four sample waves conducted annually in each region. The survey population comprises individuals who have received publicly funded home care services. Both active and discharged clients are included in the survey population.
