Defining Attributes

Definition

The percentage of cerebral infarction patients who died within 30 days of observing the infarction.

Numerator

Cerebral infarction patients who died within 30 days of observing the infarction

Denominator

All patients who have received hospital treatment due to a cerebral infarction during the period in question and whose care notification history does not indicate any previous cerebrovascular disorders

Exclusions

Patients under 18 years of age, long-term patients, and patients whose home municipality is unknown or located abroad or on the Åland Islands according to the cerebral infarction care notification
