Definition

This survey asks participants to respond to the following question: Before you left hospital, were you given any information about what you should or should not do after leaving hospital? Answer options: Yes, No.

Numerator

A subset of the denominator that represents patients aged 16 and older who responded to questions about correct behaviours after discharge.

Denominator

Patients aged 16 and older who responded to questions regarding receiving information about what to do/not to do when leaving hospital.

Exclusions

Admitted to maternity or psychiatric units, did not stay overnight.
