Definition

This survey asks participants to respond to the following question: Before giving you any new medicine, how often did hospital staff describe possible side effects in a way you could understand? Never, sometimes, usually, always.

Exclusions

"No-Publicity" patients, Court/Law enforcement patients (i.e., prisoners), Patients with a foreign home address, Patients discharged to hospice care, Patients who are excluded because of state regulations, Patients discharged to nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities
