Did you receive enough information from hospital staff about what to do if you were worried about your condition or treatment after you left the hospital? The response options to question (30 in 20 measure and 12 in 6 measure) is: Not at all, Partly, Quite a bit, Completely, Not applicable.
Numerator
A subset of the denominator that represents patients age 18 and older who responded to a question about information received on managing condition post hospital.
Denominator
Patients age 18 and older who responded to questions regarding receiving enough information from hospital staff about what to do if you were worried about your condition or treatment after you left the hospital, in the Canadian Institute for Health Information- Patient Experiences Survey.
Exclusions
Patient populations not included in maternal, surgical and medical. (To ensure comparability across hospitals and to prevent misinterpretation, results do not include maternity patients).
