Numerator

A subset of the denominator that represents patients age 18 and older who responded to questions about if the patients were treated by nurses with respect.

Denominator

Patients age 18 and older who responded to questions regarding being treated with courtesy and respect by nurses in the Canadian Institute for Health Information- Patient Experiences Survey

Exclusions

Patient populations not included in maternal, surgical and medical. (To ensure comparability across hospitals and to prevent misinterpretation, results do not include maternity patients).
