Definition

The percentage of all healthcare workers in a hospital that received the flu vaccine.

Numerator

The number of healthcare personnel, who received an influenza vaccination administered at the healthcare facility, or reported in writing (paper or electronic) or provided documentation that influenza vaccination was received elsewhere.

Denominator

Total number of healthcare personnel (employees, licensed independent practitioners, adult students/trainees and volunteers) who are working in the healthcare facility for at least 1 working day in the year.
