This measure reports the percentage of residents who have had an indwelling catheter in the last 7 days
Numerator
Long-stay residents with a selected target assessment that indicates the use of indwelling catheters
Denominator
All long-stay residents with a selected target assessment, except those with exclusions
Exclusions
- Target assessment is an admission assessment or a PPS 5-Day assessment. 2.Target assessment indicates that indwelling catheter status is missing. 3.Target assessment indicates neurogenic bladder or neurogenic bladder status is missing. 4.Target assessment indicates obstructive uropathy or obstructive uropathy status is missing

- Frequent bowel incontinence on prior assessment, 2. Pressure ulcers at stages II, III, or IV on prior assessment, 3 All covariates are missing if no prior assessment is available.
