Percentage (adjusted) of patients discharged that are readmitted to bed ward care for patients suffering from Schizophrenia within a 30-day period. The indicator shows the recurrence of inpatient care for a patient treated due to schizophrenia within 30 days by hospital district, % of those discharged (all hospitals).

Exclusions
The following have been eliminated from the indicator: - treatment periods recurring on the same day - hospital transfers - patients who died in the year in question

Care Registers for Health Care HILMO (THL). Data content: Institutional care, housing services and regular home-care services provided in social and health care, and outpatient surgery. The data include client identification data, age, gender, municipality of residence, length of stay, diagnostic and procedural data and data on the sending unit and place for further treatment. The data are collected at the level of individual clients/patients at the end of care periods, or at the end of each year concerning clients registered in institutions. The data are reported by service providers. Data reported in the care notifications are entered into the Care Registers for Social Welfare and Health Care.
