Definition

The median (50th percentile) waiting time for admission to ward.

Numerator

The median (50th percentile) waiting time for admission to ward. The waiting time is computed from the time "Decision by doctor to admit patient" to the "Time patient exits EMD" (to go to inpatient ward).

Denominator

This is a continuous variable measure. The target population is people admitted from EMD (inferred).
