A weight was calculated for respondents in each stratum (facility). Due to small numbers, it is not possible to adjust weights to account for different mixes of clinical services and demographic distribution in different facilities.

Data Collection Methods

A maximum of 700 patients per facility is sampled. The sampling frame is based on data in the Ministry's Enterprise Data Warehouse for Analysis Reporting and Decisions (EDWARD) Non-admitted Patient (NAP) activity data mart. Targets of sampling for each facility are calculated based on aggregated clinic-level data. Selected patients are invited to complete the questionnaire by either returning the hard-copy questionnaire or by submitting an online response.
