The rolling three month number of patients discharged from adult (mental health) acute beds that were eligible for 72 hour follow up in the reporting period as a proportion of all adult acute bed discharges.

Numerator

Routine provider submission to the Mental Health Services Data Set (MHSDS). This is a patient level, output based secondary uses data set which aims to deliver robust, comprehensive, nationally consistent and comparable person-based information for patients who are in contact with Mental Health Services. Monthly provider level data will be available approx. 12 weeks after each period – details will be provided via the 'Mental Health CQUIN' FutureNHS Collaboration Platform.
