Definition

Percentage that meet the Standard: Maximum two months (62 days) from receipt of an urgent referral for urgent suspected cancer or breast symptomatic referral, or urgent screening referral or consultant upgrade to First Definitive Treatment of cancer.

Numerator

Number of patients treated within 62 days within the period following an urgent General Medical Practitioner or General Dental Practitioner referral for suspected cancer.

Denominator

Total number of patients treated within the period following an urgent General Medical Practitioner or General Dental Practitioner referral for suspected cancer.
